Special Interest Groups

What they are all about and why YOU should be involved.

USAV Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a mechanism for communication and integration across USAV — a way to work together as a team at the business function level.

Here is what you can expect if you join a SIG:

  • Regular web conferences (typically monthly) where you share your work and challenges with a group of peers in other USAV companies. These meeting are scheduled well in advance and last about an hour. There is an agenda and, as a SIG member, you will have input relative to agenda items.
  • Information, advice, and insight from professionals doing the same job as you in other USAV companies.
  • Access to shared templates, case studies, and other relevant documents.
  • Access to a group of USAV peers for urgent questions and insights.
  • Occasional presentations from industry experts on your SIG topic.

USAV provides an online collaboration website, Member Hub, to help SIGs share documents, coordinate meetings, and organize other activities. Each SIG Hub contains:

  • A SIG roster
  • Posted documents
  • Meeting agendas and minutes
  • Forums
  • Other items of interest to SIG members
