Edge is hosting a virtual Procurement Roundtable on April 3 from 10 AM to 2 PM MT. The roundtable will connect procurement professionals within the Edge network to discuss key issues in procurement, share best practices and foster a network among peers.

The format will focus on interaction and practical discussions with an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Edge.

Ultra-wide 21:9 displays are quickly becoming an essential part of conferencing solutions for organizations that want to elevate the collaboration experience for their hybrid teams.

The 21:9 display format allows more content to be seen in standard conferencing applications. In addition, Microsoft Teams’ new “Front Row” feature takes advantage of the 21:9 aspect ratio to put remote attendees at the bottom of the screen to keep them at eye level for those who are physically in the conference room.

AV professionals have not been using 21:9 before so there are numerous questions about how to appropriately integrate this new technology.

Brian Retzlaff
Solutions Engineer | Legrand | AV

Brian Retzlaff has been in the AV Industry for over 20 years. Starting his career as an instructor, Brian taught math and Cisco networking. His AV experience includes sales, design work, integration, manufacturer’s rep, and currently working for one of the largest AV manufacturing companies. Based on years of field experience, Brian’s current role as Solutions Engineer, provides him the ability to consult and design AV solutions for a wide range of practical applications including education spaces, conferencing, digital signage, venues, and command and control. A passion for networking education drives his current content development.

Brian Schwartz
Product Manager | Da-Lite

Brian Schwartz is a product manager at Da-Lite, a brand of Legrand | AV. He has been active in the field of projection technology for 17 years, focusing on best AV practices and the science of projection screens. His responsibilities include understanding customer needs and product gaps in the market, product introductions and lifecycle of the brand’s extensive electric screen product portfolio and accessories. He has played an integral role in bringing the latest technologies to market – most recently, the Tensioned Advantage and Advantage with SightLine cable drop. Prior to his current role, he spent 10 years in Da-Lite product marketing. Brian is a doting father who spends much of his free time supporting his two children in their athletic and equestrian aspirations. Finally, he’s a Cubs super fan, a music buff (we dare you to stump him), and a passionate collector of the Beatles.

Remi Del Mar
Sr. Product Manager | Epson

Remi Del Mar is a Sr. Product Manager on the Audio Visual Products team at Epson. Her team is responsible for Wearable Augmented Reality, Projection AR, K-12, and working closely with partners to set projection standards for hybrid workspaces and enabling new experiences in modern meeting rooms.

Capturing the attention of students is important for educational campuses everywhere. In this webinar, we will explore how to use display technology to engage students, improve recruiting efforts and modernize the student journey. We will look at case studies focusing on common spaces, student centers, outdoor spaces, activity centers and dining halls.

Mark W. Knox, Vertical Solutions Sales Consultant for Projectors at NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc., is responsible for executing a solutions-based sales approach for NEC’s impressive portfolio of display products within targeted verticals. Mark works closely with the Sales teams and the Product Marketing managers to communicate and demonstrate NEC’s technological advantages. With over 15 years in the electronics industry, Mark has covered a large spectrum of responsibilities. Starting as a custom integrator early in his career, he moved into a project management role before shifting to the manufacturers' side to help launch such technologies as 4K(UHD) consumer television, integrated automation home theater receivers, high-resolution audio, and 4K laser projection for education. Mark has extensive knowledge in higher education in regard to projection and displays technology.
